Common diagnoses/Types of patients: RSV, Post Op, Cystic Fibrosis, GI, Nephro, Endocrine, Pediatric Med Surg. Experience or 'Must have' skills: Peds experience; Peds SD is a bonus. Job Requirements Required Certifications: BLS, PALS; APHON is a bonus, not required. Are RNs required to titrate drips: No. Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Yes. Are there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios: Yes, 1:12. Schedule Information Shifts & Scheduling: Days/Nights/Weekend days & nights. Weekend Requirement: Yes. Holiday Requirement: No. Is there a call or standby requirement?: No. Floating Requirements: Yes. Unit Specific Information Unit/Department specific orientation: Inpatient Pediatrics. May be floated to Pediatric Stepdown, Pediatric Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, PICU Stepdown, NICU Stepdown, Postpartum Unit. Additional Details Can only submit to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system. Drivers license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility. Previous perm candidates must be gone for 2 years. Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years. Individual unit requirements listed in pulse apply.
