The Enterprise Master & Reference Data Adoption team plays a critical role in Citi’s Transformation Initiatives with responsibility for leading the strategic adoption of Master and Reference Data (MRD) Authoritative Data Sources across Citi.
The
Reference Data Adoption VP
will partner with lines of business and global functions to execute the Reference Data adoption strategy focused on the Product, Instrument, and Price domains.
This position requires an understanding of enterprise data capabilities as well as their practical application across functions in a large financial services organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with line-of-business, Risk and Finance functions to document the current state of Master and Reference Data, identify the target state, and plan and execute Adoption initiatives
Understand and actively manage key program/project deliverables and interdependencies to ensure execution
Support the adoption of the Enterprise Master & Reference Data Strategy
Advocate for adoption of Master and Reference standards and remediation of data quality issues at source
Develop a deep understanding of MRD concepts and taxonomies as well as their end-to-end use cases
Continuously monitor and report adoption status across a federated portfolio of programs and projects
Qualifications:
6-10 years of relevant experience
Experience in financial services preferably one of Citi’s lines of business or global functions (risk, finance)
Experience in Master and Reference Data domains e.g., Party, Account, Product, Instrument, Agreement, etc
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect day-to-day activities to long-term objectives
Proven ability to manage competing priorities, identify dependencies and negotiate solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to deliver key messaging across a varied group of stakeholders
Experience with change management using a structured project methodology to successfully plan and track projects
Self-starter with the ability to work independent of detailed oversight
Flexibility to deal with ambiguity and changes in business priority
Proficient in the use of basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree and/or equivalent experience
