Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking Systems Engineers to join our team supporting our Frost program. This position would be based in the Colorado Springs, Colorado area at Schriever AFB.
This role performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Assist in the implementation of the required government policy to make recommendations on project tailoring, participate in and document project activities
Perform both technical and non-technical assessments of requirements and work with functional area personnel to develop design to remediate those requirements
This position is primarily focused on the Operations & Sustainment of several interconnected networks; however, knowledge of the System Engineering processes, Agile development, and DevOps is essential for mission success.
This position requires being onsite and does not support remote or hybrid work.

Basic Qualifications
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance with an adjudicated Polygraph at time of application
Must have a completed STEM degree [a degree in the fields of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics]
5 Years of relevant experience with a completed Bachelor's (STEM)
3 Years of relevant experience with a completed Masters's (STEM)
0 Years of relevant experience with a completed Ph.D. (STEM)
Must have above minimum experience on the below:
Systems engineering principles and processes
Agile development
Microsoft Visio, Project, Word, PowerPoint and Excel Office Products
Must have the ability to work rotating on-call shifts and occasionally work odd/extended hours covering a 24/7 period
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Server System Administration and troubleshooting analysis in some or all the following platforms: Linux, Windows servers/clients, and Oracle/SQL Databases
Effectively communicate and present to project and program management, other technical managers and customers
Ability to interface with multiple stakeholders from a variety of organizations (internally and externally) in support of requirements development
Solid technical foundation in Systems Engineering processes
Experience with Systems Integration and System/Software Testing, including virtualized environments
Working knowledge of system design and overall integration into an operational environment
Detailed knowledge of Windows and Unix environments
Security + or another DoD 8570 approved certification

Salary Range: $97,500 - $146,300
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
