The Sales Manager 1 in Merchant Services will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the customer base for our merchant services portfolio. This role will involve understanding merchants' requirements and offering customized solutions to meet their payment processing needs. The sales manager will lead a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets by developing and implementing sales strategies that align with the overall business objectives. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of payment processing, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to coach, mentor, and motivate a sales team.
The Sales Manager 1 will report to the Senior Sales Manager and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of services to merchants while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Collaboration with Intuit's support partners and resources will be essential in achieving your business objectives and meeting customer needs, contributing to our mission of disrupting the small business mid-market segment.
What you'll bring
Minimum 2+ years of quota-carrying leadership experience in the merchant services industry
Prior sales experience with accounting, ERP, or other financial management software is preferred
Experience selling merchant services across various industries with a strategic positioning against customer challenges
Familiarity with merchant service industry standards as it relates to rates, cost analysis, and risk management
Deep understanding of Account Receivable and Account Payable processes related to money movement
Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of sales levers, metrics, performance standards and sales methodology
Proven success in building high performing teams that consistently deliver and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
Track record of collaborating and influencing in a sales team environment
An unwavering positive attitude, strong drive for results, and the ability to deal with ambiguity
Bachelor's degree or MBA preferred
