What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal HealthPharmacy Operations is responsible for the safe, efficient and effective coordination of Cardinal Health's pharmacy operations that service acute care hospitals, hospital retail customers, ambulatory care and alternate site facilities, oncology and cardiology practices as well as retail customers.Pharmacy Services & Delivery is responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. This position typically operates Monday-Tuesday & Friday-SundayMonday - 8am-430pmTuesday - 8am-430pmWednesday & Thursday - OFFFriday - 8am-430pmSaturday - 5am-130pmSunday - 5am-130pmWill be part of on-call shift rotation (1 day/week) & holiday shift rotationCandidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, shift or overtime based on business need.This position is benefit eligible the first day of employment. ResponsibilitiesPrepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containersUses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation Processes packages returned from customer locationsMaintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairsPerforms general facility cleaning and other duties as requiredQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredMust hold a valid driver's licenseMinimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehiclePrior delivery driving experience a plusAbility to lift containers weighing up to 55 poundsComfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hoursAbility to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of timeStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to work weekends or be in a weekend rotationAbility to work holidays or be in a holiday rotationAbility to work on call or be in an on call rotationFlexibility to work various shifts or overtime as neededAbility to use computers and tabletsCustomer/Vendor credentialing is required (this may include vaccinations).
