Pulmonary Registered Respiratory Therapist for NICU/PICU75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERSTime off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.Must have 2 years current NICU and/or PICU experience required (no exceptions), provides cardiopulmonary diagnostic and respiratory therapeutic support for patients in the Hospital and/or outpatients that require cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing, respiratory treatment, and/or ventilatory support.Flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.Job Requirements

Must have an active NM or compact license.Must have 2 years current NICU and/or PICU experience required (no exceptions).Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.Schedule Information

SHIFTS: 12 hour day shift.Weekends/Holidays required.Floating required.May need to support PresNow locations.May fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.On-call, weekends and holidays required.Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.Unit Specific Information

NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS (updated 10.10.2024)Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from the last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.Travelers are first to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
