COMPANY VEHICLE, CELL PHONE REIMBURSEMENTElectrical EngineerWe are a family-owned business seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our close-knit team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our customer's electrical systems. Under the general direction of the Engineering Manager, the Engineer provides electrical design, engineering and power system analysis services. This role also includes project management, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance at customers' facilities and technical support to in-house personnel.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Arc Flash Analysis:Conduct detailed arc flash studies to identify potential hazards within electrical systems.Use specialized software to model systems and calculate incident energy levels.Develop arc flash labels to ensure compliance with NFPA 70E and OSHA standards.Electrical System Design:Design and optimize electrical systems for reliability and efficiency, considering both performance and safety.Collaborate with team members to incorporate safety measures into all electrical designs.Preventive Maintenance:Establish and execute maintenance programs in collaboration with Field Services to enhance the reliability of electrical equipment.Safety Compliance:Ensure that all electrical work adheres to relevant codes, standards, and regulations.Troubleshooting and Support:Provide technical support for troubleshooting electrical issues.Assist team members in addressing complex electrical problems.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of electrical systems, studies, and compliance measures.QUALIFICATIONS:Education - B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from accredited 4-year engineering program.Experience - Minimum Five years related experience.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities -•Organization, project management, and leadership skills•Experience with arc flash studies and electrical system design.•Knowledge of relevant codes and safety standards (IEEE, OSHA).•Advanced NEC and NFPA knowledge•Electrical modeling software experience (ETAP or equal preferred)•Power systems knowledge up to 50KV•Pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems knowledge•AC motors, DC motors, Variable Speed Drives•Project estimating•PLC and HMI programming experience preferred•Industrial controls knowledge preferred
