About the Role
The Inventory Control Supervisor will assist in the development and implementation of quality training procedures, detailed reports of quality metrics, workflow of inspection teams, finding missing items, and root cause analysis. Oversee all warehouse quality personnel to ensure accurate orders are being shipped on time. Improve inventory accuracy and efficiency at the warehouse level. Performs reviews and works with inventory movement and processes to identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with established quality practices.
What You'll Do
Achieve a high level of warehouse quality that meets SLA standards. Support warehouse leadership team with tracking job orders between inspection and batching. Support the warehouse team to measure, document, and improve standard operating procedures regarding quality. Collect and analyze trends to improve overall quality, identify root causes, and track individual quality performance. Communicate proactively with the Operations Manager regarding any and all inventory issues Basic understanding of warehouse design & workflow for product presentation to quality operators. Responsible for following internal controls, policies, and procedures. Assists with the development of internal controls, policies, and procedures. Updates documentation of reporting and reconciliation procedures, and significant controls. Works with management to evaluate and recommend process automation improvements with respect to internal systems, processes, and practices Assisting in the creation of reports to monitor key quality metrics such as WPI, DPMO, and damage rate. Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly ad-hoc reports as requested. Assist other departments as questions arise and other projects as requested Provide timely and thorough analysis and review of regular and special projects as assigned Participates in the development, preparation, and analysis of quality reports. What You Bring
Associate's Degree or equivalent experience. 0-2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably working in the electronics industry. Strong leadership experience preferred. (Overseeing 20-50 direct reports). Prior quality experience, preferably in a warehouse role. Advanced PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Excellent communication, written, and presentation skills. Strong knowledge of data analyst programs. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Highly detailed planning and organization ability, multitask, set own priorities and adapt to a changing environment. The ability to be strategic, forward-thinking, innovative, detailed, and thorough using data analysis techniques and searching for potential loopholes and vulnerabilities
