Please double check you have the right level of experience and qualifications by reading the full overview of this opportunity below.We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatrician to join our healthcare team for a 3-month locums assignment beginning in January. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents. This role requires a strong commitment to the health and well-being of young patients, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both patients and their families. The Pediatrician will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care. Your schedule would be for 3 days per week in an 8 hour shift.

*Responsibilities** Conduct thorough examinations of patients to assess their health status and diagnose any medical conditions.* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.* Monitor growth and development milestones in children and provide guidance on health-related issues.* Administer vaccinations and manage preventive care for pediatric patients.* Collaborate with specialists in areas such as Ophthalmology, Ob/Gyn, and Geriatrics when necessary.* Educate parents and guardians on health maintenance, nutrition, and safety practices for children.* Maintain accurate medical records using appropriate medical coding practices.* Stay updated on advancements in pediatric medicine, including neonatal ventilator techniques and cardiac catheterization procedures.

*Skills** Proficiency in Medical terminology relevant to pediatrics.* Knowledge of vascular radiography techniques as they pertain to pediatric care.* Experience with ventilating patients in critical situations is preferred.* Strong understanding of primary care principles for children from infancy through adolescence.* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating excellent communication skills.* Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with best practices in pediatric healthcare.* Quick credentialing, BLS & Board-Certification required.

Pay: $90.00 - $95.00 per hour
