Your Responsibilities

As a

Part-Time Student Data Analytics

for

JD Waterloo Works

located in

Waterloo, IA

, you will...

Explores new analytical problems and develop creative solutions using data and analytics.

Ingests, evaluates, and prepares data for use in dashboards and solutions.

Creates analysis tools and dynamic visualizations to accelerate insight generation for our customers.

Maintains and monitors data in business software (SAP), to ensure data integrity and accuracy

Communicates findings and methodologies to stakeholders at multiple levels.

This position is NOT available to students on immigration visas

What Skills You Need

Ability to learn new skills

Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or another business degree; others may apply

Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university (Hawkeye, UNI, Wartburg, etc)

If currently attending a community college must plan to pursue a 4-year degree

Graduation date of Dec/2026 or later

Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above

Must be able to commute to the work location

16-20 hours/week during the academic year

35-40 hours/week during the summer semester

What Makes You Stand Out

Understanding of Microsoft Excel, Power BI, VBA, Tableau, or other business analytics tools

Good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills

High level of attention to detail and accuracy
