As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals and performing specialized imaging procedures on patients to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. *Responsibilities of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist*:* Perform high-quality nuclear medicine imaging procedures using a variety of specialized medical equipment and technology.* Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines.* Position patients properly and ensure their comfort throughout the imaging process.* Monitor patients' vital signs and record any adverse reactions or complications.* Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring accurate functioning and safety.* Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze nuclear medicine images and reports.* Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging results, patient information, and dosage details.* Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and regulations, following standard radiation protection practices.* Stay abreast of the latest advancements in nuclear medicine technology and techniques through continuous education and professional development.
*Applicant Requirements:** BLS Certification* ARRT Certification* NMTCB Certification* 2 years Nuclear Med Technologist experience required
