Job Details Job Location Headquarters - Shreveport, LA Position Type Full Time Salary Range $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 Salary/year Description Title: E-Commerce Specialist Department: Corporate Location: 1826 Claiborne Avenue, Shreveport, LA Wage Category: Non-Exempt Report To: Senior Director, Customer Support and Sales Overview: The E-Commerce Specialist will focus on online sales operations and strategies, analyzing online sales, reporting and product listing optimizations, product website management, and customer relationship management. Duties include but are not limited to: Website Management Collaborate with the Executive team to develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aimed at improving website performance and achieving business development goals. Collaborate with the sales and customer care staff to resolve issues and elevate the customer experience. Work closely with the Information Technology (IT) Department to implement data-driven changes or updates to the e-commerce website and pricing catalogs. Manage all online activities related to traffic acquisition, sales, conversion, A/B testing, and reporting. Investigate, dissect, and interpret online retail performance for all e-commerce stores connected to the L.A.B. website and report on changes and market trends. Create and manage website uploads which includes landing page development. Develop and implement an e-commerce strategy to improve website performance. Also involves ensuring the website is accessibility-friendly for all users. Research the market to discover new trends and technologies to improve website performance. Ensure products, including web design, graphic design, digital marketing materials, etc., are accessibility-friendly using a systematic approach to establish accessibility standards. Manage digital marketing channels across Pay-Per-Click (PPC), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Display, e-mail marketing, and social media with an emphasis on consistency across all channels. Online Sales Analyze data to deliver a data-driven strategy to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs). Conduct price mapping and updating of pricing including ETS. Track, analyze, and report trends. Create new product listings and content for the website. Monitor boards and communicate findings to the management team. Perform contract administration functions including government and federal bid processing. Conduct online order processing and reporting. Manage inventory, data analysis, and resolve customer complaints. Perform other duties as assigned. Key Competencies: Interpersonal and listening skills. Must be able to work independently. Minimum of two years of experience in digital economies and e-commerce. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel). In-depth understanding of web-analytic tools such as Google Analytics, Heap, Oracle, and OWOX BI software. Knowledge of a broad range of e-commerce activities such as Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Google Ads, website design, sales funneling, conversions, digital marketing, and graphic design. Experience with web development and design such as user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes. In-depth understanding of web design principles and user experience (UX) best practices Experience with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) is a plus. Basic knowledge of supply chain, finance, and negotiations is helpful.
