Summary:
As the Production Manager, you will oversee and monitor all phases of the production process. You will be responsible for managing the production activities of the plant, while following established procedures and approved processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop schedules and capacity requirements to achieve shipment goalsWork closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that company goals are achievedMaximize productivity and improve production flexibility with cross-training programsMeet on-time delivery, quality objectives and shipment targetsMonitor efficiency on production floor and create strategic plans to improve plant operationsPrioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supplyIdentify customer requirements and communicate them to team membersCollaborate to improve plant productivity and increase efficiencyIdentify and resolve process issues as they ariseLead operational excellence within a plant environmentMonitor production inputs and outputs to minimize product loss and ensure all product orders are produced on time.Ensure H.A.C.C.P. AND S.S.O.P.'S are met and rigorously enforce standards of sanitation and product handlingLiaison between external customers and interact with the Sales DepartmentPromote and enhance a positive labor/management relationship with an emphasis on teamwork and employee involvementEnsure production reporting is accurate and timely, including weights and lot tracing informationMonitor plant expenditures and budgets and track production costs, when neededEnsure adequate training is provided for employees in specific work tasks to reduce or eliminate the risk of workplace injuriesEnsure the safe operation of machinery and equipmentEnsure that employees work in compliance with established safe work practices and proceduresMaintain vendor relationships by meeting performance standardsPerform other duties, as assignedWhat You Bring to Pacific Seafood:

High school diploma/GED equivalentFive years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or universityExperience in the utilization of food processing equipment in sanitation and food safetyExperience in the safe operation of fork lifts and powered pallet jacksKnowledge of HACCP, SOP's and CoOL ActTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word and Excel and AS400.Experience working with and creating budgetsTotal Compensation:
