This work may include, but not be limited to the operation of heavy equipment such as backhoes, excavators, graders, skid loaders, heavy trucks, chip spreaders, distributor trucks, asphalt lay-down machines, and other equipment. About the Project Team:The General Services Department was created in 2018 to provide quality internal management services that support City departments in a manner that enables them to carry out their community missions cost-effectively and efficiently. These internal services include fleet maintenance and acquisition, facilities and real estate, procurement, warehousing, project teams, and other support services. QualificationsThis position is a safety position, which means you will be subject to random drug screens due to the nature of the work performed.What We're Looking For:Two years (2) of increasingly responsible experience in general labor, maintenance and repair, landscaping, or construction.High School Diploma or G.E.D.Some assignments may require the ability to obtain certifications specific to an area of assignment. When assigned to General Services, Street or Wastewater Operations, possession of a Colorado Class "A" commercial driver's license.
