Huntington Beach Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking a full-time Payroll and HR Manager for our fast-growing, high-volume automotive store.
Responsibilities may include:
Oversee and manage the payroll process for the organizationEnsure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including data entry, journal entries, and reconciliationPrepare and distribute payroll reports to managementEnsure accurate employee data and resolve any discrepanciesStay up-to-date with payroll regulations and compliance requirementsProcess tax filings and ensure accurate reporting to government agenciesDevelop and implement payroll policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracyProvide support to employees regarding payroll and HR related inquiriesOnboarding - OrientationEmployee Benefits - open enrollmentWorkers Compensation claimsSexual harassment prevention trainingRecruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.Oversees the daily workflow of the department.Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing and managementAutomotive Experience is requiredFamiliarity with technical accounting concepts and practicesExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in workStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretionSign on Bonus:
