You'll work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Assembly teams to ensure prompt and effective customer support. Responsibilities include conducting packaging tests, training team members, and driving continuous improvements to reach a world-class manufacturing standard in alignment with the Production System.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead and support new product development, capital projects, and improvement initiatives, ensuring safe operations and striving for a zero-accident environmentEnhance manufacturing methods through design, tooling, and fixture development, and work closely with vendors to maintain and improve equipment and toolingDrive productivity, quality, and on-time delivery improvements by implementing advanced technologies, continuous improvement practices, and benchmarking for "World Class" manufacturingCollaborate effectively with peers and management, fostering a positive workplace culture, open communication, and active participation in team initiativesMaintain and update project progress through weekly reports, action trackers, and meetings, while developing work instructions, preventive maintenance checklists, and supporting budget planningQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in engineering or industrial studies OR 5+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in metal fabricationStrong project management tools and examples of useExperience with sheet metal fabrication welding, powder coating, and/or stampingFamiliarity/knowledge of: Lean methodology, FMEA, CNC programming, Time Study Collection, and SAP
