Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead Person, the Bulk Material Handler is responsible for ensuring that proper bulk is placed into the line hopper. Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and/or Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.

Basic ability to read, write and speak English is required to comply with verbal directions, signs, policies and procedures.

Schedule: 3rd Shift, 10:00pm - 6:30am (Sunday night through Friday morning)

Responsibilities:

Ensures that proper bulk is placed into the line hopper by checking that the label on the outside of the bulk box matches the slat counter tagKeeps the hopper full during the job runReporting any damaged or inconsistencies in the bulk to the line supervisorKeep bottle hopper stocked when possibleHelp maintenance personnel and perform some housekeeping dutiesHelp line attendants to keep bottles, caps and cotton supplies adequateWork in other buildings and/or departments as necessaryComplies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendancePersonal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and cGMPs guidelinesPerforms other duties as assignedRequirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferredPrior manufacturing experience preferredAbility to write simple correspondenceBasic mathematical skillsMust be able to respond to verbal and written instructionsPhysical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc. within a manufacturing environment325992
