Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
Job Description
The Quality Control Inspector will maintain high quality standards by inspecting incoming, in-process, and finished products, and recording inspection results.Conduct receiving, in-process, and final inspection of finished products across all technologies.Utilize hand measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to measure parts according to drawings for dimensional and visual requirements.Generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for discrepant material.Understand and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to measure parts accurately.Provide feedback to other departments on inspection results.Document inspection results using the internal QA database.Follow guidelines for using and maintaining measurement tools.Provide feedback to the QA Manager or QC Lead on inspection issues.Perform other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned.Schedule
8:00am-4:30pm / Monday-Friday + OT12:00pm-8:30pm/ Monday-Friday + OTEssential SkillsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.Two years of related experience in quality or manufacturing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience using inspection tools.Ability to navigate a Windows PC.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently as well as in a team.Experience with Microsoft Office.Ability to read drawings.Excellent attention to detail.Superior hand skills.Production and inspection experience.Strong organizational skills.Ability to multitask.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of ISO9001:2015 or other industry standards is a plus.Why Work Here?
