Creating a Connection

Builder of relationships; internal, direct customers and distribution partners.Importance of time management and alignment with goals.Drive increased, sustainable sales revenue, maintain existing business, grow customer base, and minimize erosion.Help Customers Win

Drive customer intimacy by delivering H. B. Fuller's value.Conduit to the customer for expertise of adhesive applications with the support of numerous internal technical team members.Strategic resource to our customers on key market issues; raw material & supply trends and helping the customer win with cutting edge product and process innovation.Demonstrates Functional Excellence

Strategic planner to accomplish focused annual sales & personal growth goals.Understands competitive landscape and how to position H.B. Fuller for customer's advantage.Experienced in sales territory management.Sales Competencies

Effective sales technique & strategy skillset to successfully call on various departments and levels within an organization.Time management, prospecting, negotiation, and relationship builder with direct and distributionSales know-how for all stages of a sales cycle, from prospecting through post close.Maintain a forecast and targeting sales attainment plan.Minimum Qualifications

4-year degree in engineering or sciences7+ years of Business Development experience in relevant industry; will consider direct sales experience as alternative, and proven experience hunting new business.3+ years Automotive, Adhesives, or Fastener market experienceExperience working with blueprint specifications and drawingsExcellent communication and presentation skillsExperience working with internal and external customers.Valid driver's licenseAbility to travel up to 75% within the US with potential internationally 1-3 times a yearPreferred Qualification

5+ years' experience working with adhesive applications in the Automotive or Fastener fields

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

The salary for this role is up to $140,000.
