to join our Building & Construction team in West Palm Beach, FL, US (Possible Hybrid/Remote)

Our broad certification service offering includes construction materials testing, product evaluations, industry association QA and certification programs, field-based certification, Code compliance services, Modular Constructions as well as local and global market access. Cultivate and mine relationships that will help us sell, Cross-sell and grow our services to new and existing customersOversee, manage, and provide client development leadership for North America and possibly other regionsThis would include tracking and reporting of key market information, facilitating strategy BD meetings, motivating and training others and major project pursuit, managing key client relationships and professional organization membership and networking. The position will involve spending 60+ percent of the time face-to-face with targeted strategic ClientsWorks with local and regional operations to build client base with focus on growth of our overall certification and customer satisfactionTracks and monitors account performance, profit center gross revenue, and maintain critical reporting excellenceDirect and manage overall Business Development and Sales process which includes client and project pursuits, RFPs, proposals, key wins and losses, industry activities and other general BD/marketing/Sales responsibilities. Understands Intertek-PSI core services and able to discuss and negotiate service proposals and win workAttend professional organization, government and technical meetings/events as a representative of our B&C Certification Group and coordinate/participate in these meetings and events on a regular basisWorks with Operations to respond to client needs. This may include leading collaborative efforts across multiple offices, regions, or division.Research potential Clients to determine B&C Certification service lines needed and establish initial and follow-up contacts with identified key decision makersFollow up and Close on Active ProposalsAssist with negotiation of Master Service Agreements or other client provided forms of agreementExperienced in facilitate strategy meetings and client pursuits teamsDirects the activities and monitors the results of subordinate direct reports if applicableThis position would report to the Vice President - Global Certification - Building & ConstructionWhat it takes to be successful in this role:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, higher-level degree preferredExperienced Outside Sales, Business Development or Technical Sales professional with proven track record with 5+ years' of direct experience in construction materials testing, inspections and certification requiredExperienced and proficient presenting and selling to manufacturers, industry associations, Authorities having jurisdictions, engineers, architects and other construction industry professionalsExperience with accounts in North America market preferredComfortable driving growth through accountability measured against sales quotasCoordinate and lead weekly meetings with Operational leaders within territory.Ability to learn and sell multiple service offerings, including, but not limited to Fire Protection Engineering Services, Certification Services, Testing and Inspections ServicesProficient with CRM's, Microsoft Office, Lead Service software and other softwareDedicated and methodical documentation of client activities in CRMProficient in managing multiple concurrent opportunities from inception to closeSkilled identifying and opening doors with decision makersSkilled in interpersonal interactions with clients at multiple levels: C-Suite, Project Managers, Estimators, Project EngineersLeverage existing contacts to develop long term clients for Intertek B&C ProductsPreferred understanding of construction market code compliance processes
