Job Summary:
The Industrial Maintenance Electrician is responsible for ensuring optimal operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Key Responsibilities:
•Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
•Performs general electronic inspections, diagnosis, repairs and replacements autonomously.
•Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
•Makes failure analysis, establishing the problems' root causes and taking actions to avoid repetitions.
•Performs electric and electronic activities such as low voltage panel repairs, PLC programs loading or DC/AC engines speed control.
•Detects abnormalities on sensors, actuators or variable speed drives.
•Updates information in the maintenance systems and performs maintenance reports.
•Performs electrical, electronic, automation and electromechanical troubleshooting on industrial equipment, overhead cranes, electrical installations of the building (600 VAC and below), offices installations.
•Knowledge of performing or assisting on electrical installations using EMT, rigid, liquid tight conduits; install wire ways, disconnects, junction box; run wires, cables, network cables according to NEC.
•Perform preventive maintenance on electrical machines and equipment.
•Coordinate maintenance plans and schedules with the production supervisors.
•Participate in the creation of preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.

Requirements
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent required.
•Associated degree in Industrial Electrical and/or Mechanical Technology or related field preferred or equivalent vocational/technical training and experience.
•At least 5 years of experience as an industrial electrician, particularly with low voltage controls and 3-phase systems in an industrial setting.
•Minimum 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment,
•Familiarity with PLCs and industrial control systems.
•Be able to read and understand blueprints and CAD.
•Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Have working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
•Strong verbal and written communication competencies.
•Self-starter, able to work with minimum supervision.
•Strong organizational and time managements skills.
•Must be able to travel when needed.
•Must be able to work weekends, holidays if necessary.
Physical Requirements:
•Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
•Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
Schedules:
•Night Shift - Start Time: 6:00pm
•Monday-Friday and Saturday OR Sunday
•Sunday-Wednesday (46 hours)
•Wednesday-Saturday (46 hours)
