FM Industries has locations in Fremont and Livermore, CA with multiple shift opportunities!Days: Mon-Fri 6:00am to 2:30pm; Swing: Mon-Fri 2:00pm to 10:30pm; Weekends: Fri-Sun 8am to 8pmTHIS POSITION IS FOR DAY SHIFT - Monday thru Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Also, available for Swing Shift 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. with potential for overtimeSUMMARY OF POSITION: As a CNC Horizontal Machinist II, you will set-up and run repeat or proven part(s) with simple to high complexity with minimal direction from area Lead or Supervisor.Responsible for DNC communications upload and download tool programsProvide technical assistance, guidance, and instruction to operators and lower-level machinists as requiredEnsure an accurate router accompanies all work ordersInspect and measure parts to maintain statistical process controls charts Qualifications: Minimum three to five years' work experience Completion of Machine Tool Technology program preferred.
