Unit: Oncology (8S) (632)General InformationUnit Specifics - Information below is requested for better sourcing:Documentation system: MeditechFloating policy: As neededProcedures performed on unit: Chemotherapy administration, CHG Baths including the central lines and dressings, Central line, mediport access and lab draws, BLOOD PRODUCT TRANSFUSIONS, CHEMO ADMINISTRATIONDress Code: RN: Navy scrubs, Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy, Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed, Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually, Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears, is prohibitedFloating Guidelines, Methodist Acknowledgement Form, Attendance Policies, Central line dressing changes, Follow all protocols for temperature, chemo, etc
