PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Technical Writer to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Greenville, SC. This is an initial 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates.
Job Description:
Interpret aircraft engineering blueprints and other aviation technical documents to write, in clear and concise language, aircraft work instructions enabling structural, electrical, avionics, and general maintenance technicians to perform aircraft maintenance, modifications, repairs, and overhaul. Written instructions may also include requirements for parts fabrication. Written documents also include required support and test equipment, tooling, materials, and labor budgets. The planner/writer leads sessions to gain stakeholder approvals of Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Customers. Additional responsibilities include incorporation of approved changes from stakeholders and referenced technical data.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalentUS CitizenshipExperience in the aviation/aircraft maintenance fieldExperience writing Technical orders, work instructions, aircraft work documentsSolumina experience preferred.
