Minimum Experience REQUIRED: Two years of strong Med/Surg, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experience.Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)Patient Population: Med/Surg. population - post-surgical, UTI, sepsis, high fall risk, COPD, CHFSkillset: Remote tele, chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, straight cath/Foleys, ostomies, Heparin drips, blood/blood product administration, tracheostomy are, PCA management. Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills! Hard worker, resilient and manages change well, social candidatesUnit Information: 41 beds. Ratio: Days 1:4-5; NOCs 1:6-7Unit Strengths: Experienced leadership, CNA support.Scrub Colors: Navy blue scrubsSchedule Information
Contract Length: 13 weeksStart: 12/2 - Bi-weekly orientationPrimary location: MidtownShift Requirement: 12hr Days 6:30-7 Blocked Thurs-Sat OR Thurs-Sat one weekend, Fri-Sun the alternate weekFloat Requirement: First to float within skillset. Deaconess Newburgh (IN) campus (8 miles apart) & potential to float to Deaconess Henderson (KY – 11 miles). 2 HR notice given for cross campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus. Cross campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible.On Call/Call Back Requirement: N/AWeekend/Holiday Requirement: Weekend/Holiday: Every weekend, Every other holiday (work Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Years Day)Unit Specific Information
