Job Overview: Just Courts Constructions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Superintendent to oversee the construction of pickleball courts across the United States. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing day-to-day construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to company standards. This role requires in-depth knowledge of construction management, site preparation, and specialty court installations, with a focus on delivering high-quality pickleball courts. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Lead and oversee all on-site construction activities from start to finish, including site preparation, grading, and installation of pickleball courts. Team Supervision: Direct and manage on-site crew members, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project timelines. Scheduling: Develop, update, and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met. Quality Control: Ensure all construction activities comply with industry standards and company guidelines, focusing on the quality of court surface, fencing, and related amenities. Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols, conduct regular site inspections, and address any safety concerns promptly to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Budget Management: Assist in managing project budgets by tracking costs, minimizing waste, and coordinating the procurement of materials and equipment. Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the project team, clients, and management, providing regular updates on project progress, issues, and solutions. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process to keep the project on track. Qualifications: MUST be willing to travel to job sites across the United States Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction management Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field a plus Experience in pickleball or tennis court construction is highly desirable. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) is a plus. Strong understanding of construction processes, site preparation, grading, asphalt/concrete installation, and sports surfacing materials. Proven experience leading construction teams and managing subcontractors, with excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to handle project challenges and conflicts efficiently with creative, solution-oriented thinking. Familiarity with local building codes and regulations related to sports facility construction. Valid driver's license is required, as travel between construction sites may be necessary.
