As one of the worlds largest lift truck manufacturers, we are committed to providing the customer with the safest, most efficient and ergonomic lift truck possible to lower their total cost of ownership.Responsibilities:+ Provide manufacturing engineering support for Product Development and Product Team activities.+ Support Product Teams by managing and implementing product changes driven by market demands and warranty issues.+ Act as the liaison between Product Design and Manufacturing.+ Lead design reviews that promote designs that are compatible with and leverage Crowns manufacturing strengths. Deliverables include tooling concepts, process designs, cost goals, and timing for implementation.+ Support cost reduction activities.+ Support engineering changes through the SAP system.+ Participate in make vs. buy decisions.+ Develop budgetary expense and capital spending estimates.+ Develop reports, project briefings, and management presentations.Qualifications:+ 12+ years related experience.+ Must have valid driving privileges.+ Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing.+ Direct involvement in product development or current product introducing product to manufacturing.+ Domestic and international travel: 5 -15%Preferred Qualifications:+ Bachelors Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related technical field.**Work Authorization:**Crown will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
