InDyne is a full-service military, civilian and commercial operations company. Our Mission is to provide tailored cost effective, quality services and solutions. Our Vision is to exceed customer expectations by delivering results through agility, flexibility and responsiveness. Our Core Values include integrity, trust and loyalty.

RT&T, a joint venture of InDyne, Inc. and Amentum Services, Inc. is the prime contractor to support the Atlantic Range Technical Support Services (ARTSS) for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) headquartered in Patuxent River, MD, and with locations in Maryland, Virginia, and California.

ARTSS supports Atlantic Test Ranges (ATR) and Atlantic Targets and Marine Operations (ATMO) in research and development, engineering, maintenance, operation, support of facilities, systems, and equipment in order to meet the engineering development and operational testing and fleet training missions for some of the world's premier systems. Our work with the U.S. Navy keeps the warfighter safe by testing systems before they are used in combat, and we are hiring personnel to support this important mission.

Summary:

The Patuxent River Infrared Signature Measurement Group is a fully autonomous, field deployable measurement team focused on the collection and analysis of Ultraviolet/Infrared (UV/IR) signature data from static to dynamic flight test. To accomplish this, state-of-the-art imagers and spectrometers are utilized to collect and analyze radiometric signature measurements for DoD programs of record. We work hand in hand with a variety of engineering disciplines to develop methods of testing and collection of radiometric signature data of DoD assets under test.

Our engineers work in various environments including highly specialized labs, indoor and outdoor test and measurement ranges, and operational locations.

Our team is critical to the success of DoD programs, aircraft survivability and the warfighter at large. Your role on our team would be equally critical to our success as an organization.

Responsibilities:

Operation of Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometers and UV/IR imagers for the collection and analysis of UV/IR aircraft signature data, resulting in high confidence reports addressing problems of interest.Operation of UV/IR imagers, Spectrometers and FTIR based Hyperspectral Imagers.Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for IR data collection of field-tested DoD assets. Refining spectral radiometric calibration techniques and procedures.Evaluation and experimentation of state-of-the-art UV/IR spectral FTIR sensor performance in various environments and conditions.Respond to detected errors and artifacts by recommending possible causes and corrective actions.Develop and test algorithms in MATLAB with respect to the operation, calibration, and data reduction for the processing and interpretation of multispectral radiometric infrared data, interferograms, & hyperspectral data cubes.Research and develop new data processing algorithms and analysis techniques for UV/IR, hyperspectral data exploitation. Tests and validates analysis tools and algorithms against historical and simulated data test sets. Supports analysis tool code transition from requirements development through implementation.Responsible for performing data collection, analysis, post-processing, and communicating results of laboratory, field, flight, and vehicle signature measurements.Design and implement software models.Write and use scripts for batch analysis and post-processing of IR data.Use MODTRAN for the application of IR signature data processing and reduction.Develop and execute Research and Development (R&D) test plans to meet needs defined by management or by the customer.Participate in multidisciplinary design teams to solve challenging aircraft survivability problems.Skills and Experience:
