The composition of transaction work will be approximately 80% sell-side M&A, 10% debt and equity financing, and 10% financial restructuring.Analysts are primarily responsible for the creation and oversight of financial models, marketing collateral, and client presentations, in addition to performing research and various analyses in support of new business generation and the execution of M&A transactions. They are afforded meaningful responsibility and are generally members of four-person deal teams comprising a Managing Director, Vice President, Associate, and Financial Analyst.Job DescriptionFinancial Analysts support investment banking engagements and new business development efforts. They work primarily on the execution of mergers and acquisitions transactions, as well as develop expertise and build relationships with clients. As part of our team, you will:Prepare, analyze, and help explain historical and projected financial informationPerform valuations of companies and businessesCoordinate and perform business due diligence and execute M&A transactionsPrepare confidential memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches, and other presentationsAssist in the marketing and execution of existing engagementsBuild relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients and professional advisorsThe environment at Houlihan Lokey is both collegial and entrepreneurial.
