No C2C**, Candidate should be local to LA.JOB TITLE: Graphic DesignerThe scope of the proposed services will include the following:Meet with State staff to determine the scope of a project;Advise State on strategies to reach a particular audience;Determine the message the design should portray;Create images that identify a product or convey a message;Develop graphics for logos and websites;Select colors, images, text style, and layout;Present the design to State;Incorporate changes recommended by the State into the final design;Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them;Ensure that coding standards are met; optimizing the web architectures for navigability and accessibility;Utilize specialized graphic design software to prepare designs;Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:Bachelor's degreeExceptional written and oral communication skills, analytical skills, and familiarity with a range of computer softwareSolid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detailStrong Excel skills required, including data modeling and ad hoc analysisAvailable to work from Baton Rouge, LA on a regular basisExpertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:Ability to discern key themes within large, complex datasetsApplication of specialized skills within a government agency environmentSkilled in project design and managementCapability with PowerBi and PowerAutomateExperience in data visualization, especially for external audiences
