Yours included.The Research Nurse will be responsible for:

Assisting in the coordination of multiple research projects for the Division of Fetal Medicine and Surgery through the Maternal Fetal Care Center.Working alongside clinical nurses, genetic counselors, social workers, research fellows, research specialists, and research assistants as part of the Maternal Fetal Care Center Research program.Assisting Principal Investigators with the submission of new protocols. This includes but is not limited to editing study-related documents, assisting with the completion of the electronic protocol submission, collaborating with other relevant departments, communicating with the Institutional Review Board, assisting with the development of study documents such as consent forms, subject files, data entry forms, electronic databases, and standard operation manuals.Participating in the informed consent process, including eligibility and screening as required.Facilitating scheduling of patient visits including logistics of coordinating study procedures as required.Assisting with submitting amendments and continuing reviews of current research being conducted in the department.Participating in all aspects of studies including design, recruitment, enrollment, consent, interventions, assessments, as well as collection and upload of study data.Assisting with maintaining regulatory documents, creating notes to file, reporting adverse events, and communicating with the Institutional Review Board.Participating in the implementation and tracking of research devices and interventions, including the use of IDEs and HUDs, and involving data collection in the OR.Carrying out or overseeing biospecimen collection and transfer.Assisting in planning, organizing, and running study-related meetings.Conducting in-services for nursing staff participating in patient's care.Ensuring that all research projects are being conducted using Good Clinical Practice and adhering to hospital policies as well as the policies of outside agencies (i.e. the FDA).Establishing relationships with patients and families and maintaining patient safety throughout all aspects of this role.Assisting in the development, oversight and performance of clinical trialsBeing on site to help oversee and participate in day to day activitiesTo qualify, you must have:A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.Minimum 1 year of clinical research experience preferred.Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience.
