Community Relations and Charities Internship (Spring/Summer 2025)
Responsibilities:•Manage online donation platform, Approved for Good. Process all donation requests•Maintain the master nonprofit list and facilitate outreach to maintain and develop relations with community partners•Manage the Salute to Service Program and execution of other gameday initiatives (Swing for Swinge, Community Spotlight, and Philling the Need)•Assist with scheduling and coordinating mascot appearance for non-game day events as well as perform as one of the IronPigs mascots•Oversee Community Relations table and Guest Services for all home games for the 2025 season•Assist with IronPigs Charities fundraisers and events including Meet the Team, Hackers & Homers Golf Tournament, and Phillies Winter Banquet•Lead in-game 50/50 raffle and jersey auctions•Assist in planning and execution of annual baseball camps•Facilitate ballpark tours•Represent the IronPigs organization at community and nonprofit events•Assist with scheduling/executing various in-game promotions as needed
Hours and Expectations:•During the months of November through March, interns will work 35-hour work weeks which will be Monday through Friday with occasional weekends. Start times vary by day or week but will often be from 9 AM to 5 PM with an hour lunch.•During the months of April through September, interns will work 35-hour work weeks which will include weekends and game days.
