Position Overview:

As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you play a critical role in providing guests with a clean, comfortable, and inviting stay. You will be responsible for maintaining guest rooms, hallways, and public areas, ensuring they meet hotel standards. This role requires attention to detail, time management, and a positive attitude to create an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and service guest rooms: Ensure rooms are cleaned thoroughly, including changing bed linens, dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, sanitizing bathrooms, and replenishing guest amenities according to hotel standards.Inspect rooms: Verify cleanliness and room readiness for incoming guests, ensuring all items are properly stocked and in good condition.Handle guest requests: Respond promptly to guest service requests for additional towels, toiletries, or any other needs with a courteous and professional demeanor.Report maintenance issues: Identify and report any room or equipment maintenance needs to ensure guest comfort and safety.Follow safety and sanitation policies: Adhere to hotel procedures for chemical handling and cleaning products, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.Manage linens and supplies: Keep housekeeping carts and storage areas organized and well-stocked throughout shifts.Assist in public area cleaning: Support the cleaning and upkeep of hotel public spaces as needed, including hallways, elevators, and lounges.Handle lost and found items: Follow hotel protocols to manage lost and found items, ensuring they are tagged and stored securely.

Skills and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is a plus but not required.

Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow specific cleaning standards.

Good communication skills and a guest-centric attitude.

Physical stamina to perform tasks like lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.

Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
