At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL.Overview:Supervision of the Industrial Maintenance resources to support and facilitate production needs with regards to over 50 production and R&D chambers of various types and configurations.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:Provide leadership of the thin film maintenance resources including the people, equipment, material, building, and processes to resolve equipment issues and improve uptime of chambers.Ensure adherence to all safety protocols including LOTO and radiation safety ALARA requirements.Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure preventive maintenance schedules are adhered to, minimizing unplanned downtime.Manage the spare parts inventory, coordinating directly with supply chain.Direct the thin maintenance team, through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, regular PMsProvides guidelines for professional growth, can coach and mentor staff.Support facilities group regarding maintenance on periphery equipment supporting coating operations.Support facilities group with cross-training between Thin Film and Facilities Maintenance teamsMonitor employee schedules, assign tasks, and coordinate department resources to resolve equipment issues.Interfaces with production and engineering to understand current and upcoming needs, and prioritizing activities accordinglyCoordinate directly with operations and engineering to improve system operations and uptime. Promote strong cooperative relationships between maintenance Techs and Equipment Engineering.Maintain a variety of reports, records, and production documentation.Complete administrative tasks such as ordering equipment, approving timecards, submitting requests for buying equipment, etc.Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:Minimum of a technical associate's degree or equivalent experience. BS in engineering a plus.At least 5 years vacuum deposition experience required.At least 2 years of maintenance planning experience required.Supervisory experience is preferredAbility to be on your feet and lift up to 40 LBS[Mandatory clause]
