For more information about DAWSON, please visit dawsonohana.com.Salary Range: $95,000-$115,000SUMMARY:DAWSON is seeking to fill a Construction Project Manager (PM) position to provide facilities and technical support for the Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) on-site at a Military Treatment Facility (MTF). The PM shall provide medically-related project and program support services including general support services, facility operations & maintenance support services, occupancy support services, and facilities system support.The project management support services include: planning support, technical support, construction project management support, Operations and Maintenance coordination, program management pertaining to The Joint Commission (TJC) facilities compliance, staff training and consultation support, transition planning support, project tracking, submittal reviews, warranty support, and contractor Request for Information coordination support. Frequent coordination with Directorate of Public Works, Corps of Engineers personnel in Hawaii, Mobile, and Huntsville, HFPA, DHA, and other US Army personnel is required.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate techniques and reporting to and escalating to management as neededPerform risk management to minimize potential risksProvide facility and technical support in monitoring, evaluation, comprehensive technical analysis of quality assurance and documentation of various safety and health initiativesAttend and participate in various on-site coordination and information meetings, including weekly oral briefings with government officials and daily meetings with on-site personnelProvide as-needed reports to government officials and report on the status of the project to leadershipProvide project planning and coordination efforts, including Master Drawings reviews, End User coordination, Space Manager coordination, code compliance reviews, design and construction guidelines conformance reviews, interface with Operations and Maintenance, etc.Develop a facility capital investment program and track the status of Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (SRM) projectsManage outfitting equipment and furniture for facilities including planning, transition, and standardizing furniture and finishes for the areaProvide Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) Operations support for utility systems, planned construction-related utility outages support and control, emergency repairs and preventive maintenanceProvide SME Operations support for fire and life safety systems to include planned construction-related outages, emergency repairs and preventive maintenanceOther duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:A Bachelor's Degree and experience directly related to assigned tasks/discipline in a hospital environmentExperience managing The Joint Commission facilities compliance preferred.DoD hospital Accreditation Survey experience preferred.Training and experience necessary to serve as SME to coordinate and facilitate CRA, ICRA, ILSM and other required Facilities SOPs, procedures, implementation, and monitoring to ensure patient and staff safetyAbility to multi-task, compromise, and solve problemsExcellent time management and ability to meet deadlinesStrong skills in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Project, and PowerPointSuperior verbal and written communication skillsOccasional travel required
