Job Overview Komatsu is looking for aSr. Accountantto support the Surface Loading Business Unit. This is a key position supporting the Loading Business Unit and will serve as a finance resources for our logistics, transportation, and distribution teams. The Sr. Accountant will play a critical role in financial planning, analysis, and decision support to drive business performance and achieve strategic objectives. Key Job Responsibilities Provide financial support for logistics, transportation and distribution teams. Provide financial planning and analysis including development of annual budget, quarterly forecasts and scenario planning. Establish trending, monitor annual budgets, forecasts, logistics expenses, and financial projects. Support departmental budgets, expense reporting, variance reporting, etc. Maintain KPI\'s that document trends, cost savings, documented results against established targets, etc. Prepare financial updates to leadership team within the Surface Loading Business Unit. Ad-hoc analysis supporting the Surface Loading Business Unit, other business partners, and segments. Provide support for Ad Hoc requests in the Operations Accounting team in Milwaukee Analyze financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations for decision making purposes. Ensure accurate and timely analysis of financial information for business planning purposes. Review and report cycle count results, including accuracy and % completed. Analyze capital requests for proper accounting treatment, approval, and physical control. Provide input to justification of investment process as required. Ensure adherence to compliance, audits, and corporate financial reporting packages/results.
