This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for AcqDemo Business and Technical Management Career Path (NH) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Responsibilities Works international programs relating to coproduction, cooperative development, and Foreign Military Sales. Performs a continuing evaluation and analysis of assigned program areas. Performs a continuing evaluation and analysis of assigned program areas to reflect program status and identify areas requiring top management attention. Develops methodology for collecting, reviewing, and analyzing data from contractors and government activities, and develops program data for program reviews through DOD level for presentation, conferences, display, and other management purposes. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Experience Required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience at the NH-02 (GS-11, or equivalent) level in the Federal Service that includes: 1) Developing, using Microsoft Project, Integrated Master Schedules complaint with DoD-5000 policy guidance and requirements; 2) Adjusting Integrated Master Schedules for changes in program events 3) Utilizing technical knowledge of schedule develop systems to provide impacts for a variety of scenarios and to analyze data to develop solutions to mitigate schedule issues; and 4) Communicating project/program schedule status to identify areas needing emphasis and to ensure schedules are accurately planned and executed and align with projected funding. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02/GS-11). Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at Practitioner Level Career Field-Program Management within 60 months of entrance on duty. Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement. This position is a TERM position. It is temporary and may be extended up to a maximum of six years.
