Join us where you will be part of a dedicated team to manufacture high tech products, safely, accurately and efficiently, you will perform a variety of hands-on operations in accordance with standardized processes within customer specifications.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Assist with driving standardized process for slurry preparation and control, shell build, dewax, and mold inspection.
Perform audits for the Monoshell, Dewax, and Mold Prep processes to check for compliance and to reduce scrap and rework.
Perform trials and evaluations under the direction of the PO team.
Work with manufacturing, engineering, and PO teams to ensure that technical and quality requirements are communicated and implemented.
Assist with development and implementation of new ceramic materials and techniques.
Modify work instructions as needed (Activity Instructions).
Perform data retrieval and data analysis in Excel. Make reports as needed.
Flexibility to work off-shift hours and weekends for occasional training or technical support.
Skills & Abilities
Ability to communicate with shop floor and management personnel
Ability to organize, manage time and prioritize multiple tasks
Able to work in a self-directed or team environment.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills
Forward thinker – must have the ability to innovate when the opportunity is presented.
Experience with MS Office, working knowledge of Excel
Must be available and willing to work overtime as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
1 year experience in manufacturing or a technical role
Must be able to provide documentation in the original form establishing both your identity and your employment eligibility in the U.S.
This position entails access to export-controlled items you must be able to lawfully obtain access to such items.
Preferred Qualifications:
Some coursework towards an Engineering or Technical degree preferred.
Supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
Knowledge of Six Sigma, SQL, Minitab and/or Lean Manufacturing is preferred.
