Location: Various LocationsAs an Information Technology Intern at Regal Rexnord, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in the dynamic field. This paid internship program is designed to provide exposure to various aspects of Information Technology, enhance your technical skills, and contribute to real-world projects. Join us in our mission to protect digital assets and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical information.Beyond the "learn by doing" training structure, the program cultivates excellence in communication skills via formal report-outs to peers and senior Digital and IT leadership and regularly scheduled mentor meetings with program leadership.EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSActively pursuing a 4-year Engineering degree with a major in Computer Science / Information Systems or related field
Completed two years of full-time study or equivalent
Previous internship or work experience preferred
Demonstrate genuine interest in the field and a desire to learn
Self-starter and idea generator
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to work on cross functional teams
Proven capability to manage multiple priorities and handle yourself professionally
ResponsibilitiesAssist in monitoring and analyzing network traffic, identifying potential threats, and implementing security measures.
Participate in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
Collaborate with the incident response team to investigate and mitigate security incidents.
Contribute to the development and enforcement of security policies, standards, and procedures.
Assist in creating and delivering security awareness training to employees.
Gain hands-on experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus software.
Stay informed about emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices in cybersecurity.
