$21.00 - $25.00 per hourResponsibilities

Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.

Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.At the discretion of the Chief Human Resources Officer and/or Human Resources Director, performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.Assists with coordinating payroll with Finance on a biweekly basis and maintains payroll system for agency. Prepares and inputs data in automated system to produce accurate and timely payroll.Maintains Human Resources Folder content on Agency Server.Assists with benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefit information to employees.Assists with new colleague orientation to ensure employees gain an understanding of payroll and benefits plans and enrollment procedures.Assists with annual open enrollment, distribution of materials, and on-site representation by providers of benefits.Assists with auditing disability, workers compensation and benefits invoices for accuracy and completes check requests for timely payment.Prepares internal management reports from payroll/HRIS software. Maintains and ensures security and proper handling of personnel files.Acts as a resource for employees.Maintains an active roster data base of staff degrees, licenses, and certificates and performs source-one verification of professional degrees/licenses and certificates.Assists with responding to Department of Labor inquires.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications

Associate's degree in a human services related field required.
