The Opportunity:
Work with an agile, fast paced team focused on defending our client’s global networks through threat hunting and tactical analysis of ongoing attacks. In this role, you will be challenged to dig into various platforms to discover data anomalies. This person should have a wide of range knowledge and skills, such as computer forensics/mobile device forensics, data recovery, reverse engineering intrusion analysis and methodologies, intelligence analysis, and vulnerability assessments. This is an exciting opportunity to work on highly visible projects that directly make an impact to the Nations mission. Work as a critical component in taking complex problems and delivering solutions that are simple yet elegant. You will be a motivated, pioneering contributor with the ability to drive our long-term strategic goals with daily tactical objectives. Qualifications:
Required:
Active TS/SCI with required polygraph clearance
Significant experience with both Python and Java language software development
Proficient in design and initial implementation of new applications and scripts
Experience adapting, porting, and maintaining existing scripts and applications
Experience with shell and javascripting
Experience with identification and implementation of design improvements and functional automation for efficiency (e.g., Infrastructure automation, Data automation, integration with existing APIs)
Experience with Java Spring Boot framework
Experience using software version control (e.g., git)
Experience writing documentation for software releases
Experience with implementation and utilization of REST APIs, and with structured and unstructured data
Experience with Angular
Experience with Dataflow / ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) framework and/or data engineering to move and process data
Ability to create, troubleshoot and improve data ingest pipelines
Familiarity with data warehousing principles, software and tools:
Apache, HDFS, Snowflake, Solr/ElasticSearch
MySQL, Postgres, JSON, etc.
Familiarity with handling of large commercial data sets: data validation, Ingest, Query, Optimize
Desired:
Experience developing software for cyber threat hunting applications
Strong interpersonal communication skills to interface with a variety of customers and design & develop tools to meet requirements
Ability to understand user requirements and develop those requirements into solutions
Ability to research, analyze, prioritize, problem solve, and work several tasks concurrently with minimum supervision
Angular, MongoDB, and/or GraphDB experience is a plus
Experience in Cybersecurity Fundamentals (e.g., SANS courses, MITRE ATT&CK, CEH or similar training/experience)
Computer Networking experience (e.g., TCP/IP, packet capture data structures, TLS and related data)
