Are you ready to take on this exciting challenge of being responsible for full month-end close processes, analytical variance analysis and monthly account reconciliations with us on our Resideo Corporate Accounting Team?
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in Month-End close process, prepare Journal Entries & account analysis
Responsible for monthly Balance Sheet, P&L trend reviews and variance analysis
Perform monthly account reconciliations
Preparation of quarterly & year-end workbooks including footnote support for 10Q/10K filings
Support interim, YE and SOX audits
Preparation and submission of governmental reporting and annual tax packages
Preparation of ad-hoc reports for finance team
Participate and lead special projects focused on continuous improvement of accounting practices
Collaborate with functional departments to ensure processes follow Controllership guidelines
Assist with Cash and Payroll processing, as needed
MUST HAVES:
CPA or CPA eligible
3+ years' experience with Accounting/Finance
Prior Senior Accountant experience

Strong demonstration of financial and analytical skills with the ability to think outside the box
Knowledge of equity activities (Stock Comp, ESPP, Options) '
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:
The typical base salary for this role, ranges from USD $78,840 to $137,160 per year but varies by specific work location. For example, the base salary for this role in Melville, NY is $90,666 to $157,734 per year. Within a range, Resideo determines base pay for an individual based on various factors, including market conditions, skills, and experience.
