Occupational Health Nurse

OVERVIEW
We are currently searching for a skilled professional to join a well-known client's team as an Occupational Health Nurse IV. This flex position will require travel between Plymouth and Minnetonka sites, with the potential for additional coverage during staff vacations and absences. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to occupational health. RESPONSIBILITIES
* Collaborate with lead RNs at both sites to provide comprehensive occupational health services.
* Conduct assessments and first aid responses for workplace injuries and illnesses.
* Manage workers' compensation cases and provide injury assessment and case management.
* Maintain and manage medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
* Participate in medical surveillance and emergency response coordination.
* Assist with accommodations management and develop plans for injured employees.
* Facilitate the AED program and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
* Utilize nursing process skills effectively for documentation and care planning.
* Communicate clearly and effectively with diverse personalities and team members.
* Exhibit strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
EXPERIENCE
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in Occupational Health preferred.
* Recent hands-on nursing experience is required.
* Experience in case and injury management preferred.
EDUCATION
* 2-year associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
* Current RN license in Minnesota required
