WBS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking an Intern - Audit Services in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. This internship is full-time during the Summer of 2025 with the potential to work part-time during the academic year. The hourly rate for this internship is $19.80 with paid company holidays. This position offers flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site) with time spent in the Milwaukee office.Job Responsibilities
Work with audit team members to document, evaluate, and test the adequacy of process design and application of financial and operational controls to mitigate risks at a reasonable cost in accordance with professional standards.Work with audit team members to develop effective solutions to process/control weaknesses.Work with audit team members to interpret and evaluate the application of regulatory requirements (SOX, PCAOB, SEC, PSCW, FERC, MPS, etc.) and implications to the company and audit function.Work with audit team member to communicate with clients at all levels to ensure issues are understood and persuade them to make process changes to promote internal controls.Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or HSEDCurrent pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Computer Science, MIS, Analytics, Finance, Business, or related degree with a graduation date after June 2025.Minimum GPA of 2.8Preferred Qualifications
Completion of sophomore year by the time the position begins.End Date:
