Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee all day-to-day management of accounting area for all functions within, including: Procurement Finance, A/P, Fixed Assets, and Month End Close.

Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.

Coordinates the reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts and ensures that all accounting transactions and journal entries are in accordance with GAAP and company policies.

Ensure compliance to the companies accounting policies and procedures (including SOX).

Monitor actual expenses and assist management in developing, recommending, and implementing corrective action to ensure results of the operations are in line with the operating budget.

Manage the Budgeting, and Forecasting processes for the NSO Balance Sheet and assigned departments.

Supervision and development of the Accounting staff.

Effectively lead Accounting staff in various projects to improve processes, implement controls, and provide optimal service levels to the organization.

Perform financial analysis and prepare reports that provide detailed cost information to local and corporate management.

Oversee the month-end processing and reporting related to assigned departments.

Working with Operations team to create and maintain activity base costing system for assigned departments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.

8-10 years of experience in accounting or finance required, CPA preferred.

Knowledge of GAAP and General Accounting activities required.

Prior leadership role in budgeting and forecasting required.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively depending on the situation.

Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment a plus.

Experience with Oracle preferred.

Detail oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.

Capability to work on multiple projects at the same time and meet deadlines.
