The role is considered on a 24-Month Contract.If you or someone you know is interested in this opportunity, please email Ronak Gandhi [email protected]Position: Network EngineerLocation: Iselin, NJ (Hybrid 3 days on-site)Duration: 24-Month ContractQualifications5+ years of experience working with 3rd party vendor connectivity, preferably CiscoEnterprise experience needed, preferably in the financial industryStrong experience working in an agile environment working with JIRA, ServiceNow, etc (able to run reports, look up devices, etc)Any ansible/python experience is heavily preferredAble to assist with project coordination/administrative tasksTechnical Skills5 years of experience configuring & troubleshooting VPN connectivity over the public internet (B2B Candidate Only)5 years of experience enterprise networks w/ financial industry experience5 years of experience configuring WAN topologies supporting Business to Business connectivity (MPLS, SD-wan, Point to Point)5 years of experience configuring networks which includes routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.5 years of experience configuring L2 connectivity such as (Port configuration, vlan assignment, STP, Link aggregation (LACP), inter vlan routing)Certifications / Administrative SkillsExperience creating and/or updating technical design documentation used by engineering and operations teams.Experience working in Agile methods with tools such as ServiceNow, Jira and confluence.Experience managing and driving results across multiple project assignments.CCNP or equivalent arista certificationFlexibility to frequently be on call beyond normal working hours (late nights/weekend)Job DescriptionOperating world-class, large-scale data networks for global enterprises that maximize security, performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.Working with business units to rapidly develop and implement solutions.Building and supporting enterprise LANs, MANs, WANs, VPNs, and remote access solutions in a variety of topologies.Programming experience to simplify, automate, or orchestrate any network tasks.EEO EmployerApex is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
