Notebooks play a crucial role in democratizing the development of data and ML apps in this context.ABOUT THE TEAMSnowflake Notebooks is a development interface in Snowsight that offers an interactive, cell-based programming environment for Python and SQL. In Snowflake Notebooks, you can perform exploratory data analysis, develop machine learning models, and perform other data science and data engineering tasks all in one place.To learn more about the capabilities of the Notebook products please visit https://www.snowflake.com/en/data-cloud/notebooks/ABOUT THE ROLEWe're looking for a talented, experienced Principal software engineer who can not only architect and code solutions, but also help define a vision, and lead the team to deliver on that vision. As the technical leader on the team, your decisions will have a significant impact on Notebooks and the direct experience of the various Snowflake user personas who use Notebooks on a daily basis.You will work at the intersection of data, GenAI/ML, frontend development, and people and culture.

This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.Snowflake is growing fast, and we're scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth.
