This dynamic role will project manage a set of multi-faceted projects working cross functionally with key stakeholders across the organization and ensuring projects are executed on time.Responsibilities
Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for establishing a methodology for managing a portfolio of projects and building the tools to effectively manage the portfolio
Establishing critical path, including milestones for each project and ensuring that all project phases adhere to the agreed-upon timelinePlanning major project phases and establishing project success factors with input from key stakeholdersMonitoring execution of all deliverables across multiple projectsLead and document cross-functional discussionsPresent portfolio and marketing activity to senior leadership and cross-functional teamsManaging internal and external resources as needed to ensure project success and completionAssist in troubleshooting and finding solutions to unforeseen issuesCommunicating with stakeholders, team members and others on project status, including progress, risk and any issues that may have an impact on project deliveryCoordinating across multiple stakeholder groups including R&D, Supply Chain/Demand Planning, Sales Communication, and all functions within MarketingPrioritizing risks and their impacts for mitigation / monitoringLeverage standard tools to manage the projectQualifications
Required Knowledge & Desired Skills7-10 years portfolio and project management experience in managing product introductions or cross department non-technology projectsBachelor's Degree, MBA PreferredCommitment to a customer-first approachAbility to lead large cross-functional teams on medium to large size projects throughout all phases of the project life cycleAbility to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner to all levels of the organization, including senior leadershipExceptional interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skillsExcellent relationship manager with strong negotiating skills and the ability to facilitate relationships at all levels of the organizationProficiency using MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SmartsheetFamiliarity with project management tools and methodologiesPMP certification a plusRole is based in Montvale, NJ with some travel to our R&D facility in Flanders, NJ.Travel 10-15%
