Job Description Summary
We are seeking an experienced BIM Process & Data Analyst with expertise in data modeling to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of implementing and managing Common Data Environments (CDEs) for large-scale engineering and construction projects, with a focus on nuclear industry experience. This role will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, identifying process improvements, developing procedures, and creating data models to ensure efficient data management across our global operations.

Roles and Responsibilities
Data Modeling: Create and maintain accurate, scalable data models to support CDE implementations, using current data analysis, design, and visualization tools. Produce and maintain process flowcharts, prioritization matrices, and other tools.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders across multiple departments to ensure alignment and understanding of CDE implementations, process improvements, and data model development. Translate customer input in actionable design elements.
Process Improvement: Analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement in the implementation of CDEs for engineering and construction projects, with a focus on nuclear industry experience.
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, develop detailed process descriptions, and create functional specifications for CDE implementations.
Procedure Development: Develop clear, concise procedures for implementing and managing CDEs in the Engineering and Construction department, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., ASME, NQA-1).
Training and Support: Provide training and support to engineering and construction teams on effective use of CDE tools, processes, and data models.
Metrics and Reporting: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of CDE implementations, process improvements, and data model effectiveness, providing regular reports to senior management.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
5+ years’ experience in a nuclear industry-related engineering or industrial construction project environment.
Eligibility Requirements
The preferred work location for this role is at the GEH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC; but highly qualified (US based) remote candidates will be considered.
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
Desired Qualifications
Proven experience in implementing and managing CDEs for large-scale projects with multiple vendors and delivery models.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Data Modeling Expertise with data modeling best practices, entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs), data warehouse design, and integration frameworks.
Applied experience with model-based system engineering techniques.
Proficiency in using ERwin, PowerDesigner, or other data modeling tools to create accurate, scalable data models.
Strong understanding of engineering and construction project management principles.
Data modeling certifications
Experience working with requirements, product, and document management tools along with Autodesk and Hexagon toolsets.
The base pay range for this position is $86k - $112k. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 11/4/2024.
The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
