Business Analyst (Planning Coordinator Support)
to join our team in Atlanta providing On-demand operational, technical, and scientific subject matter expertise support that addresses response-related requirements enabling CDC to rapidly expand its capacity to respond to public health emergencies.The Division of Emergency Operations (DEO), with support of the Office of Readiness and Response (ORR), is actively working to enhance and augment CDC's approach to preparedness and response for Public Health Emergencies which supports the development and implementation of the CDCReady Responder Program.This is 100% onsite position.Duties & Responsibilities
Contractor shall assist in the execution of Incident Action Plans, Situation Reports, and Transition Activities and other Emergency Response day-to-day activities.
Provide support for response plans maintenance.Provide support for report writing and data collection.Develop Incident Action Plans, Situation Reports, Transition Activities along with Plans Development and maintenance for emergency response.Qualifications
Junior (BA/BS, with 4+ years' experience, or 7+ years work experience) in an Emergency Operations Center environment.Public TrustExpertise in the use of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook Mail)Ability to effectively communicate needs at all briefings to assist with operational strategy.Ability to identify gaps in existing resources.Ability to multitask in emergency situations.Ability to be flexible with a strong sense of urgency.Interpersonal communication: telephone, email, and business etiquette.Strong proofreading skill and attention to detail.Strong organizational skills.Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy
